As an employer myself, who has suffered through 9 NFL caused emergency VP shunt brain surgeries, 3 knee surgeries and multiple gran mal seizures, all from injuries I received while an employee of the San Francisco 49ers, how is it, I am responsible for any and all bills related to my injured employees, yet the $9.5 billion NFL industry is immune to the same.
I wonder if all the fans realize they will be on the hook to pay SSI for many of us as we continue to deteriorate from our injuries. I was told recently by my primary care, to quit work, file for SSI, get my finances in order (we have none) and prepare for the end.
Unfortunately I have a wife and 3 kids who depend on me, thus I am “un”able to be “dis”abled.
